I think its better to wait for SSD prices to fall. A 30GB SSD will speed up the system but get over too soon.

And fill this questionnaire: *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/pc-components-configurations/128247-pc-build-questionnaire-template.html

Back to school!!
Any SSD less than 60GB is good for SSD caching only(available with Intel Z68 boards), no use to get anything lower than 60GB if you want to use it as system drive, look at kingston SSD V series offerings.

so if i become a bit cheapo and remove page filling and hibernation files, install whole programmes away from SSD then?

And what about PSU is that ok?

@tkin

i have got no idea how z68 works. I have copied part of my config from from ready made builds.

I am looking forward to Asus gtx560 and Asus p67 board.

My question is simple is 500w PSU is ok for non SLI

And i am going to manage SSD by moving c: folders to my mechanical drive.

Please bear with me if i am idiotic and rude.
