1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: home use with heavy net usage moderate gaming on the likes of fifa 13, cod, max payne 3 and some other FPSes..
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 25k.. can add 2-3k more
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: no
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: win 7 64 bit
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: depends on the price.. even a 320 will do else if 500 is cheaper then will go for it
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: yes. a 22" is preferred full hd.. if something cheaper then a 20" will do..
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: keyboard, mouse, cabinet, psu(have a 300W one.. will it do?)
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: before first week of july
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: have built one.. will do again
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Gorakhpur. Can't buy locally as no reliable vendors. Will buy everything online!
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: i just need a pc for my bro and dad at home.. no heavy duty stuff.. a good graphics card is preferred but that can be added a year later even.. i need a pc that doesn't slow down on moderate usage scenarios!
otherwise, i need to buy a new laptop in the range of 80k.. will be used for all college work and gaming! was thinking of alienware m14x
