@OP : Games like Crysis 3, COD etc are very demanding and it is higly recommended to have a dedicated GPU. So what's your plan? A 40k rig without GPU so that you can add one sooner or later? Or a rig without GPU to run these games? The latter IMO has very little feasibility.

@sumalatha : Kindly stop quoting the OP's post before suggesting. Or atleast put it in a spoiler:)

^^ In that case, you won't be able to run the system unless you add a GPU. Neither AMD FX series Processor nor the AMD 9XX (970, 990X and 990FX) chipset based Motherboard come with Integrated Graphics.

means I am screwed... :|

okay lets say if i want my system to run with fx8350.. which is the cheapest gfx that should do the job considering my daily usage and excluding the gaming?

Or should i go with cheaper rig may be intel with inbuilt gfx and upgrade after few months to fx8350 or latest by that time??

You can get a Radeon HD 5570 or a 6670, costing between 3 and 5 K.

You can't buy an Intel rig and upgrade it to an AMD one later, the motherboard will have to be changed along with the processor.

Get the i5 now, and add a graphics card later. But for games like Crysis 3, you'll need something like HD 7850 to run it at 1080p.

Since you are buying the GPU within one Month, spend as little as possible for the temporary GPU. GT 210, HD 5450 are the GPUs which are available within 2K (around 1.8K). Get one of those. They are okay for Full HD content decoding.

motherboard Asus M5A97
WD 500 GB HDD
Dell 20"
Gfx - GT 210/ HD 5450 [Upgradation soon]

How important is UPS???
Any other fans needed???

Also How much will be the approx cost of this complete rig??

FX 8350 : 11500
Asus M5A97 : 6700
WD 500 GB : 2900
HD 5450 : 1800 (get HD6450 at 2300 instead if you'll not be upgrading soon)
Dell 20" LED : ~6500
Corsair value select 4 GB 1600 MHz : 1900 (1333 MHz will come for about 1800, so you should get 1600 MHz ram as the price difference is very low)

PSU: Corsair CX430V : 2600
Optional: APC 600 VA UPS : 2200

total: 33900 (36100 including UPS)

I would suggest to get a UPS as it is very useful in protecting the pc from abrupt power.

Get HD 5570 instead of 6450 if possible. As for monitor, get Dell. How come you changed the PSU to 600 watts; 500 watts should be enough.
