I have a problem in broadband

When they installed it worked.But after two days, i tried , i could get my LAN Led in adsl glowing but the WAN is not glowing
if WAN light comes hte LAN goes.

how to check the NIC card is fine or not?
i get frequently discnnnected.

When i try connecting i get 678 error

PLEASE HELP ME

Instead of posting your problem here, why cant u call them and tell ur issue?

Obtain your IP address through MSDOS
in run type cmd (if win xp or for win 98se go to start ms dos)
type ipconfig and press enter in the windows that comes up.

Note down your ipaddress.

now type ping your ip address

Pinging Ur IP address - will come.
If reply from ur ipaddress comes up then ur nic card is working else not.
