went to smc today.... have finally been able to convince my relative that AMD IS A COMPANY AND THAT TOO A GOOD ONE....

got this price quote:-

some questions:-

is the inbuilt zeb psu inuff or should i downgrade the proccy to athlon 2*2 250 and mobo to bio* hd @ 4.2k????

anyway nice to know your relative finally agree. their own good.

if for MSI you pointing at the crappy E51, skip it.

for cabinet, get Bijli as a whole. with the default PSU.

As far as the config is concerned, if budget permits, X4 will be better as your relatives intend to use this PC for a long time.

why not X4? or X3?

also the HDD is 500Gb isn't?

as for UPS better take APC 550VA. and printer price will be little high @ 2k i guess.

Why are making others laugh!!! You need a printer just to take prinouts once a month!!!!
Anyways, Canon MP 258 is very good printer at around 3K. You can occasionally print photographs also. Its color cartridge comes at a little higher price than HP printers but then you won't need it so often...
