Tech Savvy UFO
Hi Friends...

Whenever I have a tech query, this is where I always land up to find the answers. So here I am...

I need to do a H/w and N/w course (N+, MCSE & CCNA). I've been doing a bit of running around and found the following institutes and their fees, benefits etc.

Could someone help me make a choice or share your personal experiences?

Here we go :

************************

1) karROX, Thane (Course 1)

- N+ = Rs 4,500 + Tax
- MCSE = Rs 15,000 + Tax
- CCNA = Rs 6,500 + Tax
========================
- TOTAL= Rs 28,678 + Tax (EMI 9559 x 3 months)
========================

Additional Benefits :
- Microsoft Official Curriculum,
- One MCSE Test paper free (Worth Rs 2200),
- Virtualization module free,
- elearning Tool kit from Microsoft worth ($500).
- In-house Prometric test center

************************

2) karROX, Thane (Excel in IT & Networking)

- N+
- MCSE 2003
- Win Server 2008 ( MCTS 2008 )
- CCNA
- Linux/Sun Solaris/ATX Server (Any one)
========================
= Rs 33,090 (EMI = Rs 11030 x 3)
========================

Additional Benefits :
- Microsoft Official Curriculum

************************

3) HCL career Development Center

HCL Certified Emgineer

- Advance Networking
- Network Technology & Devices (CCNA)
- System Engineer (MCSE)
========================
Total = Rs 35,500 (Down Payment = Rs 20,000 + remaining in 4 EMIs)
========================

************************

4) IIJT, Thane

IIJT Certified Networking Expert

- N+
- MCSE 2003 + MCTS 2008
- Red Hat Linux (RHCE) - 033, 153, 253
- CCNA (640-802, latest module)
========================
Total = Rs 37,000 (Down Payment = 8,000 + Rs 3222 x 9 EMIs)
========================

MCSE Curriculum has 4 papers, but benefit, added 3 more, worth 9500.

Benefits :
a) The counselor impressed me, not only with her knowledge.... but also of her way of counseling, starting from Career point of view. (ok ok she was pretty too...)
b) Good infrastructure.

Thanks for the recommendation dude. This is much appreciated. by the way, I’m about to sit for CCNA and MCSE (one at the time of course) I fail the first time but they let me train again for free so this time I really don’t want fail. Are there any comments you can share on this. I paid real money for this and this time I want to go in there confidently. Have you passed your networking certification?

I think Jetking is best for N+, CCNA & MCSE. Though my experience is not that much in this field. Choose from Jetking, IIHT or NIIT after taking expert advice.
