best distro for a person with 256mb ram,low harddisk space & no internet connection

i am think a common distro for people who ask me for linux, as most of then have the same hardware & socbest distro for a person with
  • 256mb ram:-
  • low harddisk space
  • no internet connection.
  • Hardcore windows user

antix-mepis or Xubuntu as u may be knowing.
else make a debian minimal system and install wanted packages only using netinstall method- if u have broadband.

In the matrix of linux
well i m not so sure about 256Ram coz live cd doesn't work well at that but after installation. but if u don't have a broadband connection then mint is good for it ....it

i am currently looking at linux mint, any other suggestions?
also the distro should have a large support & should be similar to windows UI and better if it is a single cd as they take up less space:)

^I think bsd's want primary partition to install.afaik logical partitions are not supported/detected in BSD saying logical partitions are a "hack".JFYI!

I dunno, but someone who's way more versed with BSD, than I am said that it can be done easily with some minor modifications to the loader.
