Not sure how big the price cut will be coz am pretty bad in economics

but any drop is a good drop na even if it is a mere 100 bucks. And moreover, I don't think you will notice the drop for brands like samsung or benq immediately. it should effect Dell first as they ship the piece after ordering.

Just now read some news articles. THERE WILL BE NO REAL DROP IN LCD PRICE! If there are any, it hasn't got anything to do with the budget decision.

@allwyn, I strongly recommend that you see the monitor in action first, Its a possibility that you may like it, but buying and then regretting is not something you will want to go through.

@emmarbee, i went for that model because the reviews were good, 2233sw is 16x9 which i never wanted. E2200HD was not available.

So, if E2200HD was available you would've considered it even if it was a 16:9?
