Bash script -- Hoary

How do I write a bash script that will do the following . I will execute it in the root terminal in the Hoary live cd.
1.Change the root passwd .
2.Change the theme to default Gnome theme.
3.Change the background to a colour whose code I know.
4.mount a fat32 partition containing my music.
5.add the music files (all are in ogg format) to totem media player`s playlist.


I know how to do 1 and 4.Can any one teach me the others (2,3,5)

Dude, do u need a script to do all that?

Its gets boring to do that everytime I use Gnome2.12 livecd atleast until I get hold of Ubuntu5.10 install cd.
