Broken In
I bought an ASUS DVD writer today. Model number DRW-1814BL 18X18 DVD+-R.
It came with Nero 7 Essentials. I installed Nero on my OS(win XP SP2). Everything worked fine.
My questions are:-
On a MoserBaer dvd-r 4.7GB/16x the drive wrote at 18x. And it took 11 min. approx. to write 4.5GB data.
1.will there be any problem for older drives to read the media???
2.Is the time taken more than what it shud've taken??
3.Also, i dont get any options in nero for setting the write speed. Actually it is greyed out. Is there any workaround to set the speed???
