Thanks for the tips guys! I have been to the service centr thrice and inspite of them re-flashing it twice, it still has the same issues. I even submitted the piece for a day at the center. A friend has the same phone and has faced hanging issues too. Since it wasnt even a week when the trouble started I visited the samsung center and they have now promised me a full refund. I hope your tips work!!! Else I might have to go for O1 only now....since here SL is for about 19.5k and I do not wish to spend that much.

or maybe the clock was too high for the MSM7227 chipset. after all its real clock was suppose to 600Mhz.

BTW, Spice is up for releasing a new mobile: MI-270. & its specialty? 3.7" capacitive screen @ 9k. & whay you should not buy it (other than its some rebranded Chinese again) it comes with something known as Eclair. can't remember what it is but doesn't sounds as good as Froyo or Gingerbread.

And lastly this uses a 600Mhz processor & that also from mediatek (no Andreno graphics) or any graphics at all.

Edit: Mediatek have plans to use ARM Mali GPU in their SOC but this low cost 600Mhz processor won't ship with one as it'll drive cost way higher & also its not build as a performance chipset. but they may use this one: Mali-55

you mean history ? i know its Android 2.1 but whats the use of packing obsolete OS on a new mobile? at least pack a vanilla Android 2.2 which is the de factor now in Android arena (not even talking about 2.3).

many will. a 3.7" capacitive screen mobile for 9k is a superb buy as it packs 3G & WiFi (should be). but start multitasking & it'll surely break down. & the rest of the "desigeeks" will understand the importance of R&D when they are shown red light after installing 5-10 big games.

HTC Salsa out at Flipkart for Rs. 20449. seriously overpriced. anything over 15k is overpriced for this mobile. considering Ace with 0.1" bigger screen cost less than 15k.

.::BREAKING::. Nexus S price slashed by 4k. Now at 22k!!

I was going through my daily dose of android news when this thing caught my attention. Both letsbuy and flipkart have knowcked a healthy 4 grands from the retail price.

the result? A realistic 22K for a pure Google experience. This makes it a good buy. What say fellas???
