advice for phones within range 15-20 k .. to buy on diwali !!

Hi friends !!
Kindly advice me on which mobile set to buy within range of 15-20k on diwali ,2012.
I was thinking of MOTO atrix 2 but many are sayng tht MOTO is shuttng down their servcies in INDIA.
Also HTC one v has not much hardware .
I dont much about HTC .
Sony has worse battery backup (i heared from a friend)

I want to buy android/windows phone with good battery and awsome look . It will be my first android/touch phone so i am pretty confused.
Help asap :razz:

Get Sony Xperia P-* now its of 25k... you should Get it for 20-22k in diwali cuz of discounts either in Local market or on eBay

Go for Sony Xperia U
M using it frm last 2 months with no issues
n upgrading it to ICS provides it superb battery life :)

u can easily get xperia u with ur budget..

@ reddick acc to one of my frend xperia U has all thngs but battery backup is worse ... is tht true ?? It doesnt last long fr half a day .need to set bightness very low so tht it can be used fr a day
ICS willl improve battery ?

useless article on that link. all the facts are not true. internal storage of sony U is said 800mb where as it is actually 4GB!
don't go on such links!

I am looking for a phone in this range and even though i have not decidd on which to buy i can at least show you the right models you should be comparing.

1. Samsung Galaxy S Advance : Rs. 18500-20000
2. Sony Xperia Sola : Rs. 19000-20000
3. HTC Desire X - Rs. 19500-20000
4. Sony Xperia U - rs. 15500-16500

Now everyone please compare and advise on which among these is the best.

^^ xsola n xu have less ram...512mb is not just enough if multiple background services are running behind..xu non expandable n just 4gb internal...u can chose between other two..i would prefer galaxy s advanced coz jb update is there and better graphics (mali 400mp) than desire x (andreno 203 heard first time)...heard some battery n network issues though...

Well tht's true b4 I've upgraded it to ICS. Bt after tht I've noticed improved battery back up on my Xperia U.
Secondly Battery performance depends on ur usage also :cool:
Bt m impressed frm Sony's hardware reliability with Android ICS platform :D

Using some coupon try getting One S for around 23k from ebay, as it is easily available everywhere for 25k.That would be the best for you.And have a look at Xperia P and Xperia S too.
One suggestion:
Look out for phone with 1GB or min of 768mb of Ram and a dual core processor.And atleast 8mp camera.These are must these days.

Guys can i have your views on MOTOROLA ATRIX2 ? it have all the feature but just it has android v2.3 OS dnt know whetehr it will get any update or not... BUT MOTORLA is connected to google now so i think ATRIX 2 will get ICS or JB soon but dont know about the MOTO Services in INDIA .. Guys kindly suggest me should i go on it.
And furthur SONY SOLA has 512 MB ram and dont have quality camera when its in range of 20k .
Samsung advance i think have some touch problem(touch not stable and accurately works)and dont have quality camera.
Sony xperia U dnt hav memory slot i guess. :(
Sony xperia P looks good though but dnt have any idea about it.....
Any idea of new phones launching with JB On diwali or nearby ?

^^ Android 4.0 already released for Atrix 2. But most likely no JB. You can also check Galaxy Nexus for 22-23k (check ManiacStore) but won't get any warranty on it. Though it'll get all update to around Android 5.0 before being phased out.

xperia p too is great phone..using it since couple of weeks..u can ask me what u wanna know...ics out...jb update will be there for sure...great 8 mp shooter...display is indeed good..pleasure to watch full hd videos on mobile bravia engine...

atrix 2 is great phone..worth to buy..and official ICS is out...slightly better performer than xperia p

samsung galaxy nexus..jb is out...slightly better performer than xperia p...720p HD display...and google phone means future updates...

all above 3 phones have 1gb ram...

Thanx Bhushan bro :) atrix 2 seems good but cant say about MOTO services .And yeah Xperia P . i dnt knw its specs will see first :)
i was checking within bdget of 15-17 k and have seen these two options r quite good .. kindly give your advice on these:
1. HTC desire S (M afraid ths is nt avail in market as launched way back in 2011)
2.Sony Xperia SOLA (seems good phone and in reach )
Any other mobiles You know within range of 15-17k plz plz update me on tht :) wating fr your valuable replies :D

htc desire s is also a good option..but 2011 phone..architecture is similar to 2011's sony xperia lineup => 1ghz single core + andreno 205 like xperia neo, ray, neo v, mini etc... ics is out..doubt on jelly bean...advantage over 2011 xperia => 768 mb ram instead of 512 (matters lot)...donno availability though...DISADVANTAGE => highly doubt on its internal storage memory...guess its even below 400mb...not at all enough for installing apps...u will get notification "out of memory" soon if u install more apps...

sola => dual core proccy compromised with 512 mb ram...

recommended => better raise ur budget or try saving more and get atrix 2 or nexus...donn worry about warranty n all stuffs..these all branded phones..nothing happens to the phone in first year...cost of xperia p will be getting low till diwali...

u r already ready with 20k...i guess +2k u can manage..ur decision...:)
