Hi,
Am using WinXP Pro SP2.
I have a weird problem. My computer just just shuts down and restarts
at times several times and at imes eventually shuts down.
No errors messages apear before the reboot.
The info in Event Viewer log is as under :
Event Type: Error
Event Source: EventSystem
Event Category: (50)
Event ID: 4609
Description:
The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal
processing.
HRESULT was 8007043C from line 44 of
d:\qxp_slp\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemobj.cpp.
Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report this
error.
However in Safe mode with networkins every thing is fine. I can assess
my email and browse the net.
Have scanned my system both on line and off line for virus, malware,
spyware, adware and every thing is clean.
Have checked the net and find several people have the same exact error
BUT could not find the solution.
I realy wonder whether it is a software or hardware problem.
Before I reinstall windows can any of you people help me out ?
