A future proof phone in under 22k

Hey there! Looking for a decent phone that fits this budget. No symbian phones please. An android should pretty much be it, but I'm a bit confused. The phone needs a good enough camera( no, not like the one on pureview 808, that would be too much.) Decent CPU, RAM, and pretty much every good thing that fits in this range. Most of all, it should be future proof. Don't want it to get useless soon. also, a front facing camera would help a lot! So, help?

Motorola doesnt have good after sale services

Xperia P is a good option :)
But it has 16GB inbuilt memory and no external SD card slot which can be a disappointment for some.

Well if you can wait then wait for a price drop in Samsung Galaxy S2 ...its around 25k now ....there may be a further price drop and it may fall to 23-24k :)

xperia p wins hands down(IMO)... but i dont know about battery life.
xperia p looks better, will get ics and propably jb too, superb unibody.
and i think 16 gb is more than enough for many.
even galaxy nexus and htc one s have 16 gb .

Future proof ??? after 1 year any phone you buy, you will find that your mobile is not up-to-date :( , only 1 Ghz jelly bean need more cpu i think :-?

Back to school!!
xperia p it is then. Thanks a bunch guys/
No no no, Xperia P has single core Mali 400 GPU, its cr@p, basically its a hell lot slower than Atrix 2's graphics processor, I'd say hold it, just buy SGS II(i9000) for 25k if you can find one or Xperia S.

Oh well what matters is real life performance and the P is able to handle 1080p videos and the latest HD games without breaking a sweat. So I wouldn't really worry about it. There are no issues with gaming as such.

slowest dual core processor, poor GPU, less ram (just 512MB), bad battery life, still stuck in GB (will get 4.0 as well as 4.1 update) and cost is 22-23k. Only good thing about it is the camera and direct support from CM team. S2 beats it easily in most of the points costing 2-3k more and Atrix2 too which cost 2k less. Though 16GB memory is extra bonus but again lack of microsd card is another -ve point. In short its price is high for what it delivers.

Even the Galaxy S3(which is hot now) is not future proof.
Sooner or later, we will get the upgraded version of it.

slowest dual core processor/poor GPU - In all benchmarks, the Xperia P scores similar to the Atrix 2/Sensation and in a lot of them including Nenamark, Browsermark and Sunspider it scores ahead of Atrix 2. So I don't really know if the "on paper slowest dual core CPU/poor GPU" point makes much sense

less ram (512mb) - XP has 1 GB RAM

bad battery life - I wouldn't call it bad, but yes Atrix 2 has much better battery life no doubt.

stuck in GB- ICS update coming in a week for P. Also it will get official Jellybean from Sony as well CM10. And more than likely will receive Androd 5.0 as well. The same cannot be said for Atrix 2/I9100G and even I9100 Exynos Jellybean update is unconfirmed at this point and Samsung is even considering releasing a Jellybean value pack for the I9100 S2.

Also it looks much better than Atrix 2, has a aluminum unibody design, a camera that Atrix 2 just can't match and a better screen coupled with average (but existing !) service support compared to Moto's almost non existent service support.
