for some reason i am unable to send files frm my fone to my pc thru bluetooth however wen i send files frm my pc to my fone it successful.... frm fone to pc it says unable to connect but also i control freak is working absolutely flawless

i tried to send a file to SE t630 and was successful ... only sending to my pc says 'unable to connect'

Try sending the files from Mob to Comp thru Data cable to see if anything is wrong with the software.

I think its a problem of the 'passcode' service in Nokia phones

Does the PC turn up in the Devices list?

Assuming that u use win xp mav3,first of check whether windows is not blocking ant incoming services.Some services can be blocked by windows firewall or by any other firewall that u might have installed on your pc.u can check for that in the control panel->windows firewall.clear any blocked services belonging to bluetooth file transfer in the firewall settings.

Or else u can use fsquirt for bluetooth file tansfer.fsquirt is a inbuilt windows app for Bluetooth file transfer.u can start this by typing fsquirt in the run window.

guys first of all i hv been using this without a hitch for the past 6-7 months all of a sudden this thing has cropped up .... i can pair my fone with the pc .... but wen i try to send something to the pc it says max conx (if paired) or unable to connect

how do i set the ports .... my pc currently shows com 5 in local services for bluetooth serial port and com4 in client services for bluetooth serial port

maybe this cud help u..
rightclick on the bluetooth icon on the taskbar and select recieve file, then send the files frm ur phone to ur pc..
