My suggestion will be the AMD config, along with a HD 7970. If you plan to get another HD 7950 later, HD 7970 + HD 7950 will also work in CF. But the thing is CF/SLI of two mid-range cards like HD 7870 or GTX 660 Ti are good option for 1080P gaming, no point in CF or SLI of two highest end cards at 1080P. They are for XHD (2560X1440 or 2560X1600) resolution gaming.

@Cilus,
Ok, thanks for the suggestion,I am going for an AMD config, is this the final config I should go for?
AMD 8350- 12000 rs
ASUS 990FX pro rev 2.0- 10000 rs, please tell where to get this at 10k, ( and is it this you are talking about? Not buying from amazon, just for a reference. Asus 990fx
Sapphire 7950 OC- 21500 rs/ 7970- 28500 rs,
G.skill 4gb 1600 mhz- 1500 rs
TX 650W Psu- 5600 rs
HAF 912 Advanced- 5000 rs
Toshiba 7200RPM 1tb- 4200 rs

Total- 7950- 59800 rs/ 7970- 66800rs

There are two things that bother me,
1. I am confused between GPU's, I am thinking to go with a 7950 to save some money rather than the 7970, really don't want to sped that much for the GPU, wanted to go for the cheaper option, I mean like i dont wanna spend extra 7-8k for just 5-6 frames more..., saving rest of the money for an ipod 5g and other upgrades. Please correct me if im wrong.... and thank you all for your suggestions :) :goodjob:

I would go with 7950 if i were to buy a monitor or mobile or other gadget as 7950 is very nice itself and you would be able to game no problem.....

also save that money in a piggy bank and break it while buying monitor. It will allow a good 24 inch monitor....

7970 is not just 5-6fps more, it will also last you longer. CF that and you add a few years more.

Anyway, if you are concerned about the budget, take the HD7950 and OC it.

Try for 1tb wd black and another 4gb ram.

Yes buddy, 7950 is a good card if you are on a budget and oc ot later. And about the ram too, upgrade it to 8gb, if on a budget upgrade ram later. You are good to go at this config.

Let me have your professional advice guys,
1.There have been a lot of rumors about the haswell, so should i go for that? I can surely wait till may/june.
2.There also have been rumors about the new graphic cards in 2013 and other components

So is it worth waiting till may/june?

actually it is nvidia that will be making things intresting in next few months....

hashwell?? dude it will take sometime to release and then mobo's of that socket type will release and then it will take time for price to settle down....

so imo hashwell will be purchasable towards the end of the year. But again if you wait and save up some funds then you will get better pc.

Titan releases this 18...

so is it good for op to wait for just gpu?, btw when are they getting relesed (approx)

No I don't think so. If a card is going to be released in Q4 this year then the mainstream cards will release nest year. So 1 year waiting is not worth it. Just buy whats best for you right now.

Can somebody tell the difference between m5a97 and m5a99fx, I was thinking to save some money here.
1.I am only going to OC 8350 to 4.2-4.3 ghz
2.Not planning for CFX ( will buy new gpu when 7950 gets outdated)

Asus M5A97 has no Front USB 3.0 Connector but M5A97 R2.0 has.

Asus M5A97 R2.0 has one 16x pcie slot and one 4x pcie slot =6.5k
Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 has two 16x pcie slots and one 4x pcie slot =10.3k

Better go for M5A97 Evo R2.0(7.5k) because it has 4 fan connectors than 3 fan connectors of M5A97 R2.0
