Right off the assembly line
1. What is the purpose of the computer? (Note: If you are planning to say multimedia, you will have to be more specific as all types of systems are capable of doing that)
A: Honestly, it's just gaming, but computer should be capable of doing other stuffs.

A: yep

3. What is your MAX budget?
A: Rs. 60,000

4. Planning to overclock?
A: Might wanna do it.

5. Which OS are you planning to use?
A: Windows 7

6. How much hard drive space is needed?
A: 1 TB would be sufficient for me, but cause of price hike, i am leaving this option.

A: 5

Your budget is very good and here is my suggestion:-

Intel Core i7 2600K @ 16K
Cooler Master Hyper N620 CPU Cooler @ 2.75K
MSI Z68A-GD55 @ 9.8K
Gskill Ripjaw F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL 4GB X 2 @ 3.3K
Seagate 500 GB 7200.12 @ 2.8K
Cooler Master 690 II Plus @ 5K
SeaSonic SS-850AT 850W 80+ Bronze @ 6.6K
MSI HD 6950 2GB Twin Frozr III @ 16K

Total 62K

BMG ftw!!
Suggestion of Cilus, with one change Processor: i5-2500K @11.2K
Reason: for gaming 2600K will be overkill, and HT in 2600K isn't necessary for gaming. But if OP plans to use this rig as workstation, then 2600K is good choice.

Okay i was thinking this for a while too, but i guess the 2600k will be more *future proof* (?)

So i have decided to add 5000 to 60000 so budget is now 65000.. and that is strict 65k, not a rupee more.

I know 2500K is enough for the current games, but for better future proff solution, I have suggested i7 2600K. Also have a look at the Battlefield 3 review in Tomshardware and Guru3d, you'll find that the game is very happy to use all the 8 threads of a HT enabled 2600K or FX8150's 8 discrete cores.

Reason for suggesting a 500 GB instead of 1TB is the recent price hike of HDDs due to the Thailand flood. Currently 1 TB is retailing well above 4.5K.

Max-Snyper and others, one interesting news for you guys:

Seasonic SS-850AT is far better than TX 750 V2. Reason: Actually Corsair TX 850 V2 is nothing but a rebranded SS-850AT. In other word, Seasonic is the OEM for all the whole TX V2 lineup.

Check here.

So SS-850AT is highly recommended over TX750 V2. When compared to TX 850 V2, corsair has a upper edge as it has excellent aftersales service in India.

Good God....... Did any of you guys saw the price hikes in HDD.. 500GB is costing near 4000 now..... 2TB is 7600 ,,atleast in HYDERABAD...

It's really a bad idea to go for heavy capacity for now.. I think the factory issues are going to solve in Dec-Jan.. and it's the best time to buy then...

Thanks to me... I bought my HDD's (12TB) in Sep itself... Still I need space... damnit

BMG ftw!!
As OP increased his budget to 65K, I would suggest

Corsair HX850W @8.8K
which is a real 'future proof' PSU to me thanks to its modular cable design.
