which one to get ?

57/67xx is good enough, 68xx will blast through, 78xx is way overkill.

pick one within your budget. tho a 6670/6770 will just about work for you (provided you keep down the settings a bit, im talking about 1440x900 @ 4x AA and medium settings)

if you want a bit more quality, go for the 6850.

i dont know much about the new 7xxx series, except that only 79xx cards have been released.

also, upgrade your cpu, if possible, as it will be a major bottleneck, especially if you are going for a high end card like 6850 or 7xxx series

i do not wish to upgrade my cpu so im not looking for a high end card as it will bottleneck my cpu, im looking for a mid range card or entry level card like 7700,6500,5600
