40 or 42 inch lcd under 50k

Need a lcd tv 40 or 42 inch under 50k... i hv selected two models.. Sony 40nx520 and lg 42cs560... which one is better??? Later i need to buy a hd set top box... which one is good is quality and is on the cheaper side???

Rather buying that sony or LG lcd get Samsung 40D550 or you can also buy Samsung Plasma 43D450 but its HD not Full HD otherwsie it is far better than LCD and also it is bigger as well as cheaper than it.
