40 incher : 60K HDTV

Guys i'd like to buy an HDTV. I'm pretty much sold on 40" screen size.
The foremost requirment is good picture quality. ( Dont require Videophile Standards but should be good enough) Placement is in a Moderately lit living room. With viewing hours ranging from 7000 to 2200 hrs.

Dont need 3D.

Dont care for Built-in Wifi.

Wud be good if it could pull vids from youtube and stuff. A little gadgets love wont hurt either. So built in ethernet required.

Good user interface is a bonus. (But im a techie so can handle myself)

Dont give much importance to other marketing features. A good video processor and a decent input selections (Even a single HDMI , Single USB and maybe two Component inputs ) will suffice.

At 60k, go for a plasma panel. Check panasonic 42 inch v series. Its the best at this budget. Check it out at your nearest panasonic dealer. Excellent colour reproduction and amazing contrast performance. The blacks reproduced in this tv are very natural.
