Need for Speed game series with three new games in to three different genres. These new games will cater to gamers in action, simulation, and arcade racing genres. (source:Techtree)

I feel like kicking the mofckin ass of whoever decided at EA not to make games for my beloved PS2. they r makin games just for PS3, suckbox360, PSP n PC even kiddie consoles like Wii n DS will get 'em. man, wtf they were thinkin for not makin games for demi god of gaming consoles?..I am at the end of my wits, completely shocked by this exclusion of us PS2 lovers. Is there anyway to let 'em (EA guys) know, how much it hurts to see PS2 bein left alone??

Need for Speed creators EA Black Box have collaborated with Slightly Mad Studios for Need for Speed Shift s development. Slightly Mad Studios developers were also involved in acclaimed racing games like GT Legends and GTR2. For Need for Speed World Online, Black Box worked with EA Singapore.

These new games have been in development since two years and this year we ll get Need for Speed games with a different take.And they r Can you wait to burn some rubber?

A few months ago, rumors had it that EA was about to can the Need For Speed franchise, but today the giant publisher unveiled its plans to release 3 new Need For Speed titles over the next year.

"We recognize racing videogame fans are very passionate and unique - they want customized gameplay experiences. Need for Speed SHIFT - Fall 2009

Shift into high gear! Designed to deliver a true driver's experience that reflects contemporary motorsports, Need for Speed SHIFT is built by racers for racers. Need for Speed SHIFT delivers an authentic and immersive driving experience developed by Slightly Mad Studios in collaboration with executive producer Michael Mann at Black Box and senior vice president Patrick Soderlund at EA Games Europe. Slightly Mad Studios includes developers and designers that worked on the critically acclaimed games GT Legends and GTR 2. Need for Speed SHIFT replicates the true feeling of racing high-end performance cars like never before. Need for Speed World Online - Winter 2009 in North America, (Summer 2009 in Asia)

Beginning in Asia, this Play 4 Free action racing game will give Need for Speed fans access to licensed cars, parts and multiple game modes.
