Remember you won't even get a single android phone which doesn't lag or lags less, that too below 20k not possible.

iphone 4 should cost around 20k or so now, my friend got 4S from dubai around half a year back for only 33k, as the iphone 5 is there now, iphone 4 should not cost you that much.

Heard lumia 920 will be priced at only 30k. so expect HTC 8S at ~20k unless HTC forgets this is India. should be an excellent grab if priced as expected if screen size is acceptable.

getting an android phone without lag is difficult.. every phone in the range 15-17k gives you the 512 ram which is not sufficient...if you have checked sam's post only 3 phones which have more than 512 ram

3. attrix -in all the 3 devices moto attrix is the best..but its out of your budget.

attrix is the best device but out of your bodget. galaxy s advance costs 18500/-in local shops...guess it is out of your budget too..
s duos looks like a good alternative to me.

it is accepted hat dual sim needs more battery, but there will not be drastic difference in the battery life.

now, if you listen to your heart... i think you need

htc one v- awesome phone, 3.7' screen, lasts for a day with average 2g usage, overall a good package.. i used for few days ,it doesn't lag ...lags only if you run too many applications together... use some memory managing app for it...

i'm a little flexible with the budget.

stock Android is mostly lag free. Once you start applying themes and UI (sense, touchwiz, blur) even quad core have problem dealing with all those junk. my mobile with an ancient qualcomm arm11 processor is mostly smooth. Triple buffering (Jelly beans, project butter) will increase smoothness but mayn't succeed in eliminating the rare lag.

Atrix2 have best hardware under 20k, at the expense of lame or almost no service here.
