2 pc's one one BSNL broadband conctn ??

hi guys ...
can anyone tell me how to connect 2 pc on one broadband connection ie BSNL
i want to connect 1st pc by USB and other by ethernet ... !!!
can anyone help ??? plz

sorry boss with one modem u can not connect both pc simultaneously....

but the manual says it can be ( doesn tell how ) .... !!!!! i don know ... im stuck up ...i have one usb and ethernet port 4 each

Take the USB and jam it into the lappy and with Ethernet to Desktop

i've tried da same but it didn't work 4 me........, donno wats da problem but was able 2 connect 2 lappys at a time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
da ppl at da bsnl office told me use a 'hub' instead....
it costs around Rs200 i guess...

Instead of buying a hub, you can do this.

1. connect the USB to the lappy and Ethernet port to the desktop.
2. Configure ur modem/router using the PPPoE instead of bridging mode.
3. This was ur userid and passsword are saved in the modem, itself.
4. You dont need to manually sign-in to ur internet connection, but u get connected as soon as u switch on ur modem/router. (wait for a minute for ADSL link to glow)
5. To configure ur modem/router: switch it on after connecting to the computers. Open the web browser. and type the address as 192.168.1.1 and then under WAN setting, do as i have told u.

7. for any model dependent assisstance, consult ur modem/router booklet.
