Well how is i5 4670k compared to i5 4570k?

Any other cabinet with transparent panel. Want to show off among friends :-D

Is it worth to spend another 10k on R9 290x?

About overclocking, I will push it to 4.2ghz.

you had created a thread in dec 2012, *www.digit.in/forum/pc-components-configurations/166899-need-gaming-rig-120k.html

another in dec 2013, *www.digit.in/forum/pc-components-configurations/179827-gaming-pc-120k.html and still hasn't got any of the suggested ones ;) :D

anyway, for mobo get any z97 based ones. asus SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 2 at 13.5k looks good. for the cpu, i would suggest to get i5 4690k. overclock it to 4.8ghz with a good liquid cooler like corsair h80i. it justifies the cost you spend on a k series cpu,z97 chipset and a costly cooler. for hdd, opt for wd black.

4670k won't do much even with liquid coolers(less than 4.5 ghz and that too depends on the CPU) Haswell refresh CPUs are the way to go. I suggest 4690k.

What resolution monitor do you want?
Dell's S2240L is good and has been recommended many times.

The H80i is overrated. -_- Its not really that spectacular. Since OP wants to show off, how about a Noctua NH-D14? ;)

Also no ssd in a 1.2L build?
Atleast fit in a Plextor MS5/MS6 128gb. Or even ADATA(Plextor is really good though). They are relatively cheap.

found out this one. Buy Online Noctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler in India
performance is good, neck to neck with corsair h105/h110.

Oh I wasn't aware the d15 is out. Is it better than the d14??
The 850 will be expensive. The plextor 128 gb is only 5k

a fast drive backed up with 10 years of warranty. and he will most probably have the budget too.

Get a 120GB Samsung 840 evo SSD, best value for money.

And I think you might want a decent quality 750W PSU. It is recommended if you are going to run a R9 290X or a 290.

Suggest some other liquid cooler in that case. I've suggested to wait for 850 series.
