I ordered it on indiatimes for 8.8k but cancelled it as it comes with inferior proccy when compared to same mediatek 6589 also the GPU support is very low @ 150 mhz something where as 1k more q800 have GPU @286mhz and better clocked processor
So HD games will lag

hey is there any way to download android apps or wallpapers onto my laptop , load them into the microsd and then use on my fone instead of activating internet on my fone and downloading there??

search for appname.apk and you will find them also you can use usb teathering or wifi to download app/games from play store

Q700 & Q800 has same processor. no difference so clock speed of the processor as well as the graphics side will be same. where you found that GPU is underclocked in Q700?

Check official xolo site specs for both the phones

no doubt its better than others also Q700 have huge battery that was the temptation i just went ahead with the order on indiatimes (8.8k with such specs is a steal)

processors are different
XOLO Q700 | XOLO
XOLO Q800 | XOLO

gpu
q700@ clocked at 238 MHz
q800@ clocked at 286 MHz

We should wait for a handon review before taking any decision as in this case gpu of q700 is clocked at 236 MHZ where according to the link should only support 156MHZ gpu so it could be possible that the processor is same as of Q800 (this would make things very attractive and i'll regret cancelling my order ;) )

What are the differences between Mediatek MT6589M, MT6589 and MT6589T SoC

Android 4.0. really sad. This also shows the retail price will be 12-13k (same as X900). Lava can't do much in this case. the SOC cost a lot and for some reason doesn't support newer Android 4.1 or new.

go for Lava Iris 501 if you want a 5" display or Huawei Y300 if you want 4.5".

PS: 501 has better internal than Y300.
