my computer is not hibernating .......
i am running win XP sp3. from past 4-5 days , i am not able to put my computer in to hibernate mode. whenever i click hibernate button, the logoff screen shows"preparing to hibernate. but after few seconds desktop comes back again...

When I start my PC again after Hibernating it stucks over to the progress bar and hangs,what's the prob?Plz solve this as I again need to restart from scratch and waste again 20 sec to work again, I am on Win XP with 256 RAM and 25 GB partition.
I have a compaq presario V2000 laptop. hibernating the lappy is obviously faster than shuttng it down. even gettin it up is much faster., what if i never shutdown my lappy and always just hibernate it? is it alright or is it harmful for the sys?
when i enable hibernating options frm power properties
messages shows up saying:"the process cannot access file bcos it is used by another proces"" why is it soo,,i used to hibernate my pc b 4 ,,i reinstalled xp

Ive got a p4 1.8ghz Intel 845 board PC with 256 RAM as well as a GeFore FX 5200 Graphics Card ..But whenever i try to play a game or watch a video after waking up the PC from Hibernating ..the video wont come...
I have a cyrix 4 pc clocked at 735 mhz with 128 mb ram. I run win xp professional with sp-2. I have all the latest patches installed. Earlier I ran xp with no patches and the hibernating feature worked fine. After formatting pc when I hibernate the next time when I resume the mouse stops...

I have Windows XP SP2 installed in my desktop PC. If I "Hibernate" everytime without shutdowning, what will happen. Is this create problems to my PC hardware(bcoz hibernating is mostly used in laptops). Plezzz help me... :?
