I have Windows 10 Professional edition installed on my self assembled desktop as a local account. I have not signed into Microsoft.

Now I plan to buy a new motherboard and processor. How can I migrate this key to the new setup? I will be using the same hard disk/RAM.

You can either sign in with your Microsoft account or use this:

Also, IIRC, your machine should get auto activated once you connect to a network. But do backup the key to be careful.

If its not OEM key then it should work in new motherboard.

As of now using WIndows 10....I like to switch to Windows 11....But my PC shows this error...

This pc doesn't support windows 11...This PC must support Secure Boot

I was modified in PC Bios....after that shows this error...There is no GOP (Graphics Output Protocol) support detected in this card

attached images...suggestion welcome!!!

According to this thread, you must toggle it on either using a switch on the GPU or by flashing a VBIOS to the GPU : *old.reddit.com/r/MSI_Gaming/commen...gop_graphics_output_protocol_support/ju11mtt/

I have never tried this (don't use Windows 11), so cannot comment on how effective this is.

I was modified in Bios...CSM TO UEFI enable secure boot...After restart...settings in Bios automatically changed again to CSM...Check attached image

You seem to have opened duplicate threads on the same topic, one in Windows 10 and another in Windows 11 sub sections. Mods may like to merge the two.

GOP is a newer protocol used by Graphics cards to boot on UEFI systems. If GPU lacks GOP then it can only work in CSM mode and that’s what is happening.
Please mention full system specs. Does your CPU has iGPU, if so consider switching to it rather than existing card which seem to lack UEFI support.

As @Desmond said, the card might have a toggle switch to toggle between CSM & UEFI

Interesting. I was not aware of that since I never had to do any of that on my system.

ok...I think my GPU...using low end Nvidia Geforce 210:-(

change bios settings to as it was before and system will boot Backup files and then fresh install windows 11 with uefi mode It will work
