Had a question, can we host multiple websites on one webhosting package, if yes then what entity(parked domains or something) to look for which will tell that the webhosting provider will allow multiple site on one account.
You can host multiple domain name in one hosting account, using addon domain name. But this will depend on hosting provider.Had a question, can we host multiple websites on one webhosting package, if yes then what entity(parked domains or something) to look for which will tell that the webhosting provider will allow multiple site on one account.

Parked domain name is used to open same website using different domain name.

Parked Domain
The Parked domains feature allows you run a single website from multiple domains.
This is very useful if you buy the same domain with different extensions.
eg mydomain.com & mydomain.co.uk & mydomain.net
These could all be parked onto your existing domain giving you complete brand protection, but you only have to maintain a single website.
The domains are mapped onto to the account in a seamless fashion so if a user enters any of the following URLs they all end up in the same place and as this isn't web forwarding the URL entered doesn't change, therefore less potential of confusion for browsers.
If your domain was urdomain.net, and you then parked urdomain.com on top,
*urdomain.com/shop/ & *urdomain.net/shop/ would open exactly the same page
Addon Domain
With Addon Domains, you can more websites with totally different Content. You will have one central cPanel to manage both the domains having totally different conten alltogether
