Re: Post what you purchased.

Ok, that I understand...but then the problem is that if I upgrade to a new computer in few years this 450W corsair PSU might not be usefull anymore due to connector etc.

I m going to use the current Zebronics SMPS as it is in my workstation. If I need to buy one then Corsair 450W it is or Cooler master Extreme Power 500

just curious..from where you ordered exactly?

Zebronics India deals with Leadtek products, I ordered it to the local Zebronics distributer & he is getting it from chennai. It should come by wednesday or maximum thursday evening.

Re: Post what you purchased.

oh, its a nice feature to have....really helpful while carrying.
I find it very hard to carry my headphone on CS matches...do any sub 1.5k headphone have this feature?

Don't know, why don't u check in the local market.

I would have opted for Creative HQ1700 headphones, but they were not easily available so I opted for Philips instead which also have good reputation in Sound reproduction.

Today I bought Energizer Duo, a set of 2 rechargeable batteries & the charger for Rs 700. Quite costly but they are good in the long run. The batteries are Ni-Mh so they won't leak inside the device. I will be using them with my XBOX 360 wireless controller. I bought 2 more Everady rechargeable batteries for Rs 120, Ni-Mh for use with my Mouse.

They both take 7 hrs to charge completely which is good as I can leave them to charge over night.

Re: Post what you purchased.

Nice SMPS for a beast machine, but Rs 7,500 is a lot.

Any good 400W SMPS U can recommend? I m using the Zebronics Platinum 400W right now & it is working flawlessly, but everest is giving wrong readings with whatever SMPS I use, should I keep it as long as I have problems or should I buy something else???

400W is all that I require. I need 260W real power for all the components of my computer.
Cooler Master Real Power 550W for about 5.5k (should be more towards 5k now).

That's too costly & overkill for my setup.

Most of the SMPS are very costly, Corsair one is good but again for Rs 3.6k so I will buy it next month only. Cooler master claims 70% efficiency on there SMPS so there Modular eXtreme Power M450 SMPS is something I m inclining towards due to a real power of 315W which is adequate for me. Even if it is 60% efficient still I will get 270W. Can anyone find out whether it is available or not preferably in Delhi, & if yes then what is the cost.

I would prefer Corsair anyday over Tagan, reason being, Corsair is made by Seasonic, atleast the HX620W was, not sure about this one.
Tagan on the other hand is made by Topower and i am not a big fan of PSUs made by Topower. But thats just me.Tagan isnt bad either.
That Zebronics 730W is not made in India, its made by Skyhawk for Zebronics.Atleast it used to be, dont know if they changed the OEM.

Re: Post what you purchased.

^Nop!
But i already know how his reviews gonna be!
I liked his reviews because he always use the same 600W Power supply, which acc. to me is a uniqueness of his reviews.
Its not that i will not look at his reviews, i 'll definitely look forward for 'em but not with that excitement that i usually have.

Re: Post what you purchased.

^ nice one but spent too much on motherboard. U could have something better than this with a P-35 based board and a low end graphics card.

I needed an uatx which should be capable of playing 1080p movies for my HT setup. Intel G35 beats every other chipset.
