BTW, 7300 is server based Xeon.

Well, anyways, E6750 isn't bad but he should have looked at 8200,8400.

BTW saw Mithya at PVR - good movie. remake of DON if made with some logic thrown-in and in less fancy budget.

7300 is server based xeon ???? what the heck are u talking about. . i said he swapped the nvidia geforce 7300GT with 8400GS. .
and yes he got e8200 after a long long search , but i guess its worth . .pc running cool . .except the gpu temp was rather higher , idle at 62C ..who cares abt such a low end gpu anyway . once he gets more money he'll go in for 8800 / 9600 / 3870.

BTW , wats the cost of 3870 now ?

Hey my bad! Typo....
But u should have mentioned about what u talking about.
U were talking about E8400 then suddenly switched to "nVidia 7300".

It was confusing...anyways The good thing is he gets an "INTEL E8200".

And yes these 8 series cards runs little hot so its no biggie. Make sure that he has good ventilation and everything runs smooth.

Bought the same writer today for Rs.1200 incl VAT. its rocking..able to feel 60% performance improvement than old Liteon 16x DVDRw...never expected samsung to perform like this..samsung has improved a lot

I just purchased a NetGear WG111 v3 USB WiFi Adapter and a usual Chinese Bluetooth Dongle for my desktop. The price was Rs 900 for USB WiFi device and 150 for BT dongle. The BT dongle came with just a CD. It has the Cronwise chip. Th dongle forced me to install Bluesoleil which did not allow Nokia PC suite to communitcate to my Nokia 2630. Browsing the I found the INF folder, copied the drivers to the system 32 folder and uninstalled Blue solil. All good. Now the phone and PC suite can talk.

The USB WLAN device comes with a nice holder, two stickers if you want to attach it somewhere, USB extension cable., manuals and disc. The vendor did not know that a extension cable is included. (I knew it coz i read it here on the net.) I asked him to give me a USB extension cable and he provided me.

Similarly with the driver, of USB WiFi. Netgear tries to make you use its own software but as WinXP has its own WLAN functionality all I wanted was the driver. When I inserted the CD it asked me if I want to check for new software. I clicked yes and the installation locked. I force killed the installed, downloaded new package from NG site and lo the new install came with the software none the less. I was fed up by now. I used Unversal extractor and extracted the setup files once and again the main exe again. got to the INF folder, removed the NG software and just asked WinXP to pick the drivers from INF folder. Install was a breeze.

BT dongle has a fine range. Even when the phone is in other room where I get better network, the BT conn is fine.

Have not checked the USB WLAN sice I have only registered for Wifi Modem today. MTNL ppl might come on day after tomorrow or the next day.

OK I regd for the Wifi modem day before yesterday, yesterday was a hioliday. The WiFi modem was installed by MTNL ppl 2day (That is fast, way to go MTNL). As of now my desktop is Wirelessly connected.
The USB Wiffi device heats up as hell and as of now it is having ocassional connection drops. I guess this changes as the systems come in flow.

its ur choice. Basically they dun need one. But using it on table tops will spoil their feets soon nd tends to become rough.
U can feel the difference if u use a gud pad. Cloth surface pads are cheap and gud and almost as cheap as 30~40/-
