The 3rd movie was better than I expected. It's basically a return to the style of Pitch Black.

I have played the game recently (Escape From Butcher Bay). It's good, you could say its canonical to the movies. Its a pain to get working on modern systems though.

I have "Assault on Dark Athena " which included the remade version of Escape on Butcher Bay. I haven't played it on a new system.
