CPU lighting?

Hello Guys,

I have assembled some systems by myself before, but never worked on lighting. I have recently assembled a new system with Corsair Carbide SPEC - Alpha and wish to light it up to potentially use its see-through side panel.

I was looking online for some LED strips but most of them are chinease, cheap and so i am not sure if those are going to work fine. I don't mind costlier strips but it basically should be of good quality.

Have you guys tried any of these, which worked good? Please share your tips/links to the product.

Thanks.

You can setup led strips with a simple DIY process. It will cost you around 200-300 along with rgb controller

Yess, it's very challenging & adventurous to setup or do DIY LED strips but 1 small mistake costs an entirely new package.

So it's better to get it done from a professional or buy it via Retail.

I think Retail option gives some warranty.

I would also like to invest in some lightning for my cabinet (even though I don't have a see through side panel).

So thanks for your post.
Vineet Sharma: do post of you find any led strip from Nehru Place.

I dont get time for DIY projects, also i am very much sure that i will screw it up anyways.
I also didnt get time to visit nehru place, though i am sure i should be able to get something there. Will try to visit there in coming weekend.

For now, i have ordered two 120 mm fans (white LED) to put it on top of the cabinet. As its red/white with two red LED fans in front, i think it should look cool!
I should get it delivered by Thursday this week, will install those and put some pics here.
