^^For gaming you won't needing 8GB in near future. Get a decent gaming headset/mouse/mousepad with that money. If you have all these buy the RAM, after all some extra gigs of RAM won't kill you;)

BTW these are online prices, street prices will be lower.

^^IMO UPS is a must even if your place has a continuous power supply without voltage fluctuations. Don't put such costly components at the risk getting fried.

Suggested the Dell one since you insisted on a 23" monitor. The BenQ one looks fine for me. Just check if the Dynamic Contrast Ratio is good enough.

IF you're not gonna overclock....go for i5-2500/2400.

i5-2500 with HD7870, Seasonic S12II-520W is more than enough -> Rs 3700

Also ur budget is 75k....u can go for 24 inch 1080p Gaming monitor.

HD7870 can play almost all games @ Ultra settings + 24" Gaming monitor = Awesome !!!

A 75k gaming rig with a locked CPU?

@OP : You had mentioned in 'Anything else which you would like to say?' that you're looking for a 23 Samsung monitor and needed an i5-2500k configuration right? Edited it?

I have suggested this config earlier to another guy & now to you, with few mods.

Component | Make | Price Processor |Intel i5 2500k|12500
CPU Cooler |CM Hyper 212 Evo|1900
Motherboard |ASRock Z77 Extreme 4|10000
RAM |Gskill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL|3000
Graphic Card |SAPPHIRE HD7850 Dual X Active|15300
SSD |Corsair Force Series 3 120|9000
PSU |Seasonic S12II-620W|4700
Case |NZXT Source 210 Elite|2400
Monitor |Benq V2410 24" LED Monitor|12000
UPS |APC 1.1KVA|4800
| Total |75600

SSD makes this PC a really fast & responsive now. Rest will be taken care by 7850 atm. Benq V2410 is better than Dell ST2420L, coz of its stand. Google & see it yourself.

The Stock cooler, which is bundled with i5 2500k is another crap. Even though you don't overclock, get this cooler.

All the best.

^^Depends.

Are you an enthusiast who's so concerned about minor drop FPS? Then the answer is NO.

Are you ready to switch from ultra to very high, high & medium (or reduce resolution) with time? Then the answer is YES.

PowerHouse
Yes, it can will be.

But define "What Future Proof meant to you ??" first.

According to me except a beefy PSU & Cabinet, nothing else sounds future proof. So its purely depedent on how often your upgrade your components.

Cabinet like HAF X or Corsair Carbide 500R sounds futureproof, coz they can provide space for the future upgrades.

PSU's like Corsair TX850 v2 or Seasonic X850 will power most CF & SLI atm or any other upgrades. So they can be futureproof.

d3p

PowerHouse
In short you will find 15-25FPS difference from 7870 to 7850 at 1920x1080 settings & varies from game to game.

HD7870 is not a bad option, but you will have to sacrifice with some other components like Monitor & UPS. Then it might be possible.

Lets say, a config with below components.

Component | Make | Price Processor |Intel i5 2500k|12500
CPU Cooler |CM Hyper 212 Evo|1900
Motherboard |ASRock Z77 Extreme 4|10000
RAM |Gskill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL|3000
Graphic Card | SAPPHIRE HD7870 |22000
SSD |Corsair Force Series 3 120|9000
PSU |Seasonic S12II-620W|4700
Case |NZXT Source 210 Elite|2400
Monitor | Benq G2220HDL LED Monitor |7500
UPS | APC 800VA |2800
| Total |75800

Changes are highlighted in RED

^^^^ASrock z77 Extreme 4 is AVAILABLE @ 9164 @ This site

The price difference doesn't make a huge world of difference, until its in few thousands. Its takes few more hundreds to ship from Binary World to New Delhi.

Moreover OP is available in New Delhi & Binary World is located in Bangalore & the price mentioned here are always for reference, they won't be the real case price. OFC, its gonna be lesser in Metro's & higher is remote places.

SMC is the place, where OP can get all the components suggested here.
