looking at the little details u give, i feel its a gaming PC with future upgradebility. sadly the components you choose are both old & not good at all.

look at this config if your main purpose is gaming:

Processor: Athlon II X4 630 2.8GHz @ 5.1k
Motherboard: MSI 785GN-E65 @ 5.6k or Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H @ 5.5k or MSI 785G-E53 @ 5.5k
Ram: Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz C9 Titanium @ 5.8k
Hard Disk: Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB @ 2.8k
Graphics Card: Sapphire HD5870 1GB GDDR5 @ 23k or MSI HD5870 1GB GDDR5 @ 23.5k
PSU: Corsair VX550W @ 4.7k
Cabinet: NZXT Gamma @ 2k or NZXT M59 @ 3.8k (if u prefer style)
Monitor: BenQ 22" G2220 FULL HD LCD Monitor @ 8k
UPS: APC 650VA @ 3.5k

Total: 57k. check & tell. oh yes, don't worry. there won't be any bottlenecking issue nor any heat problem cause of AMD proccy.

It's for not gaming. For multimedia works like image editing, animation with flash and for video editing.

No I don't want high range graphics card, looking below 11K.

Folks please suggest a Intel based machine.

indian_blues, Sam.Shab's config is gr8 for a gaming PC. But if your only purpose is not gaming then you can invest money to a better processor

I'm suggesting one

CPU: Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz B.E. @ 7.7k
Mobo: Biostar TA785G3 HD @ 4.3k or MSI 785GM-E51 @ 4.6k
Memory: Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz C9 Titanium @ 5.8k
Cabinet: NZXT Gamma @ 2k
PSU: Gigabyte 550W @ 3.7k
Display: BenQ 22" G2220 FULL HD LCD Monitor @ 8k
HDD: Seagate SATA 1 TB with 32 MB Cache @ 3.9k
Graphics Card: Sapphire HD5850 1GB GDDR5 @ 15.8k
Keyboard & Mouse: At your Choice @ 1k
DVD Writer: LG SATA 22X @ 1.2k

Total is coming as 53.5k

you might be saying Oh God! again an AMD configuration. what with the Intel?

Believe me even 50k is not a good budget to get a latest Intel based system. Most of the forum members will agree with me, you can ask for a vote. The processors you have mentioned like C2Q 8300 are obsoleted now and Phenom II 955 is a far better performer than it.
The combination of Phenom II 955, 1600 MHz DDR3 and HD 5850 will be a deadly one, not only for gaming. Basically you can throw anything on it.

@ 50k budget you can max get a Core i7 750 based PC, but again for just CPU and mobo you have to spend at least 17k, and you won't be having a high end Gfx card

And there is very marginal difference between Core i7 and Phenom II 955 in most of the day to day application.

Here goes your Intel based config:
Processor: Core i5 i750 2.66GHz @ 9.9k
Mobo: ECS P55H-A @ 6.8k
Ram: Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz C9 Titanium @ 5.8k
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB @ 2.8k
Cabinet: NZXT Gamma @ 2k
PSU: Gigabyte 550W @ 3.7k
Gfx Card: PowerColour HD5770 1GB GDDR5 V2 @ 9.6k
Keyboard & Mouse: At your Choice @ 1k
DVD Writer: LG SATA 22X @ 1.2k
Display: BenQ 22" G2220 FULL HD LCD Monitor @ 8k

Total is 50.8k

This is also a very good config for casual gaming. If you like Intel then go for it

@Sam OP didn't mentioned the HDD in the list. Looks like he already have one.

Or if you do need HDD follow what Sam said. Just go for 1x1TB or 2x500GB HDD.

And get this monitor Benq G2420HD @ 10.5k

oops. should have been careful checking what he needs. so config - HDD cost = below 50k. i gave 2 HDD cause he'll be doing lots of video editing. so he'll be running out of space as soon as he starts.

oh yes, 24" monitor will be great to work on. & good part is it comes within his budget.

thanks guys.

I'm settling with Intel configuration
Code:
Processor: Core i5 i750 2.66GHz - 9.9k
Mobo: ECS P55H-A - 6.8k
Ram: Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz C9 Titanium - 5.8k
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB - 2.8k
Cabinet: NZXT Gamma - 2k
Corsair CMPSU-450VX - 3.8K
Gfx Card: PowerColour HD5770 1GB GDDR5 V2 - 9.6k
Keyboard & Mouse: @ 1k
DVD Writer: LG SATA 22X @ 1.2k
Display: BenQ 22" G2220 FULL HD LCD Monitor @ 8k

still I want to reduce price, please suggest some alternative for mobo and RAM with little less price to the current one. I've chose corsair 450VX instead of Gigabyte 550W I prefer corsair coz I'm using it for a year now and im happy with it's performance.

^^you can only reduce price if you go with amd
it is not recommended that you get core i5 and the cheapest possible mobo
however with phenom 2 x4 955 BE you can go with MSI 785G-E53 @ 5.5k or even ECS A785GM-M @ 4.6k or Biostar TA785G3 HD @ 4.3k
i recommended that you stick with 4 gb ram

comp@ddict

EXIT: DATA Junkyard
Phenom II X4 955 B.E. 3.2GHz @ 8k
MSI 785GM-E51 @ 4.6k
4GB DDR3 Transcend @ 5.5k
Seagate 1TB @ 4.2k
NZXT Gamma @ 2k
Corsair VX450W @ 3.8k
22x DVD @ 1.2k
Kbd.mouse combo @ 1k
BenQ G2220HD 21.5" @ 8k

Total = 38.3k

Now for the GPU, make your choice:-

MSI HD5770 HAWK 1GB GDDR5 @ 10.2k
or
Sapphire HD5850 1GB GDDR5 @ 15.8k

Your choice....I wud take the first one for the best mid-range card that a 10k budget can buy, and HD5850 for OC=HD5870 like performance + Great DX11 performance.

Personally, HD5850 rocks, I've played all DX11 titles except Battleforge and AVP2 (metro 2033 dis CRYSHIT over and over again)

Again, a good i7 mobo will not be available within 50k. You have to go for i5 Quad core.
And the difference between P55 and H55 chipset: P55 chip-set is designed for Core i5 processors (codenamed Lynnfield). Example is Core i5 750.
Now the new generation Core i5 and Core i3 processors are having a On-die Graphics Proceesing Unit. They are code named as Clarkdale. For these processors H55 chipset has been designed. If these processors are pluged only into a H55 chipset based motherboard, then only the On-die Graphics will work. Clarkdale processors can also be plugged into a P55 chip-set based board, but in this case the on-Die Graphics core won't work

myself using amd.... its better than Q9*** series(in my opinion....)....

get amd phenom 2*4 955 + a vfm mobo like MSI 785G-E53 @ 5.5k.... phenom 955 is a quad core and will surely help you in all your video editing stuff.... buy a good cpu cooler like coolermaster n520 @ 2.5k if you want....

Unless you have a 65k+ budget or going for Core i7, it is better to settle with AMD. With Athlon2/Phenom 2 series, AMD has come up a long way since it's early Athlon 64 - bit processors.

I am an Intel fan myself and both my previous desktop and my laptop are Intel based. But after seeing good review on AMD, I gave it a try... any my new desktop (see my sig for config) is running @ awesome speeds. Absolutely no trouble at all. AMD Rocks!

See the review yourself - *www.tomshardware.com/reviews/phenom-ii-940,2114.html
