Xp Problem

when I created a new account in my xp professional after switching from 1st to newer account, I found a screen crashing ....& my older account had gone......., now how can I bring back my older account?
plz help ............

query is not clear dude. seems you have not created a new account but have changed the old account and screwed the privileges

Is your old account missing from login screen only or are the Docs and Settings folders for your old account also missing?

Try out System Restore...

Yeah, you are try System Restore, restore it from 2 or 3 days back when your
account was working fine.

can I restore as I've not activeted sys restore prior this damn problem..........

No you cant restore it then,
However you can try chkdsk -r at recovery console. (guess it will work)

Btw can u please mention that are you able to see this account when you go to the control panel if yes change the password and then try)
