Wireless internet problem pls help in acer notebooks

hi iam using an acer notebook... recently i have taken bsnl wireless internet modem.I have encountered a problem in connecting to my laptop.one of the adapter driver(MICROSOFT 6 TO 4 ADAPTER DRIVER) to get wlan is diasbled.I tried to install it or update it but it is saying driver is up to date.Iam using vista home edition.I need the solution for this problem.Thx in advance
