I had KIS 7 installed on my HP laptop having Vista Home Premium and Ubuntu.

KIS didnt uninstall correctly and I manually deleted some of the entries from the registry.

While doing so, I mite have accidentally deleted some keys for wifi device. Now my wifi doesnt work in Vista though in Ubuntu everything is fine.

On booting, the wireless card is detected but installation of drivers fails.

As my laptop came with Vista installed, I dont even have the Vista CD/DVD.

How do I make my wifi work? I tried uninstalling / reinstalling the wifi drivers but still the wifi doesnt work.

I tried registry cleaners, tried repairing thru Vista Manager, tried repairing thru Vista DVD, etc. but still I am unable to get the registry repaired. Is there any other method / solution?
