Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) to be upgraded

I still fail to understand the utility of WGA, all that it promotes is a minor hassle for genuine users and a slightly less minor hassle for pirated users, considering that WGA cracks keep coming out within a day or two of the WGA update. The only thing that is happening is that Microsoft is wasting valuable programmer time.

Exactly. MS lot of time on their hands. They could not find which software they want to copy. They are waiting for other company ideas.
