Windows Driver Installation Problem!

Hello guys! I use a mobile phone to connect to the net. The problem is whenever i try to install the driver of the phone or any other devices after reinstalling the windows, If the driver doesnt get installed properly on the first attempt its very hard to uninstall it completely and reinstall it successfully.

2.Since those are usb devices and there are so many usb controllers i cant find out on which controller it got installed on the first attempt and this also hampers the uninstallation. Plz give the complete steps to install the drivers and uninstall them properly. That would be very helpful to me coz i face a lot of problem and anxiety everytime.

connect the device.
Now go here:
start -->> right click my computer -->> properties -->> hardware -->> Device manager.

Find the "?" mark-->> right click and uninstall the driver, or install the driver.
