win 98se after win ME

currently i have win ME and Xp but i am not satisfied with ME i want to install win98 over it but i dont want to format my Hard Disk.Is there any way around?

WIN ME is better than win 98 ..
well anyways if u still wanna
format ur win me partition
change ur BOOT.INI file to remove the win [edit] wrote 98 instead of ME[/edit] option
then search the forum cuz this has already been discussed

Anyway I think formatting will be necessary

I think ME is not as good as win98se just leave few services
so reven can u give us some reasons why ME?

o ur talkin abt win 98 vs ME ??
ok i have to admit i used ME for a lesser time than 98
then i shifted to 2000
and before i knew it xp was ard
but yet ... my experience with ME was soo much better than 98 SE ...
my system was more stable .... faster ...
i mean it just seemed perfect ..
it had fewer blue screens than 98 !!

so i guess it just depends on personal choice
anyways i have provided the solution !!!
