Why not auto Booting?XP cd

When we copy XP CD cotent to the harddisk and back when we write the same to a cd mean it is not auto booting (at startup of PC for newinstallation without any OS).Then same works when we do with ISO file Copying.Why like this?what is the specail feature of ISO???Anyone.......

ISO copies the Boot image file and thus makes a complete mirror copy, whereas the normal copy method doesnt copy the boot image that is at the starting of a disc track.. prolly it ignores it...

n if u want to retrieve the bootable part from the cd only then u can use the software like winiso or isobuster and then use nero to make a bootable...
