SuSE or Mandrake or Fedora or Ubuntu or Something else ....
This debate is a never ending one  People will give different opinions and will confuse you more. This topic has been already discussed many times here. Just take a search. Also search on the net for some useful articles.
However, here's my opinion. I would suggest use PCQ Linux 2005. Its coming in March 2005. It is based on Fedora Core 3 and they do a lot of customisation (and not just forward the distro). It makes it that much more easier to use and is a good experience. Support is available thru their mag and forum.
You can install any number of OS on your machine. All that is required is that they should be in separate partitions. I have Windows 98, PCQ Linux 2004 and Knoppix on the same hard disk. I intend to install Mandrake 10.1 and SuSE on the balance space (about 15 GB
