hi, i want to buy a laptop for gaming within budget 40k.
memory should be minimum 3gb and Hdd 320gb(minimum),
now i am confused between
Dell Inspiron M501R(AMD PhenomTM II Quad-Core N930 Processor, 4GB DDR3,500 GBHDD,ATI raedon 550v,15.6'' SCREEN,price-37,900)
&
Dell Inspiron 14R(Intel® CoreTM i3 380M,3GB DDR3,320 GB HDD,ATI readon 5650,14" screen ,price-36,900)

I cann't decide which is better for gaming

or Is there any other brand like Samsung ,ASUS or Acer with the same performance as above configuration and within my budget,
Please suggest me.

Lenovo Z570 has Nvidia 525M which is very basic GFX but is decent for casual gaming that is of 38K .

Dell Inspiron has ATI readon 5650 which will run games of current generation in medium settings but We cant predict for future.

Other members might be able to help you more .

BUT IMO ATI Readon 5650 is the best GFX you will get in this configuration.

Believe Me or Not!!!
Yup, ATI 5650 is a capable mid-end GFX.
Whereas Radeon 550v is (very) low-end. Dont be fooled by the "quad core" thing, Inspiron M501R performance is average at best. Your other option, with Core i3 380 + HD 5650, will perform much better than M501R.

thank u guys,i think i should go for dell 14r..
but playing games between 14" & 15.6' screen, how much difference it feels?

Believe Me or Not!!!
^^^ just 1.6" :-D

I own a 14" laptop and of course it feels small when put side-by-side a 15.6" laptop. But nonetheless, it doesnt make much of a difference when you are getting such a great specification :)
And as far as gaming is concerned, smaller screen only comes in the way while playing from distance.
