Right off the assembly line
Hello geeks,
I am going to buy an Android mobile phone this month and my budget is Rs.13,000. I know there are many phones under this category but do not know which one to select. I am looking for a device with touchscreen as well as a hardware QWERTY keypad (not on-screen). If there is no touchscreen but a qwerty keypad, then also will do.
I need an Android phone running at least Gingerbread version (2.3) and nothing older than that.
Below are the points which I need in my phone:
Currently, most of the Android phones are running Gingerbread (2.3) version and already Google is out with ICS and now Jelly Bean. Please mention any mobile running Gingerbread, if you know, has got the advantage of upgrading to at least 4.0. I know it is rare, but still let me know.
I would be awaiting your reply and so thank you in advance.

Below are the points which I need in my phone:
- Hardware QWERTY keypad (sliding/swivel/on-board)
- Good touchscreen
- Good camera with flash and it should not be less than 3.2MP
- Applications should run smoothly
- Can download apps from the Google Play/Market straight from the phone
- It should be well-built and good in looks
- A modest screen resolution will do with a good loud-speaker
