can anyone tell which filesystem is much better if i talk in terms of speed....i.e NTFS OR FAT32.........

According to me, it's NTFS all th way!! It's faster, more reliable and more secure. See this for more info :

NTFS is better.. but then which OS are u using.. win 2000,nt n XP support NTFS.. and FAT32 is supported by Win 98,me,XP..
