And dont go for a Symbian phone by any other manufacturer, as the ones other than Nokia tend to screw up with Symbian. Nokia has the best Symbian phone lineup. :!: So take my word and gor for it.

Windows Mobile is more suited for business users. It has better PIM functions and great synchrnisation with Windows. Though Symbian S60 also offers decent PIM features, it lags behind WM. So as, you are not a business users or one who has to access mails 10 times a day(I'm assuming it), you need not be concerned about it.

Symbian S60 is more suitable for a Multimedia phone/smartphone. WM gives more of a PDA feel. One thing which WM can have is touchscreen support which Symbian S60 does not have currently.

Multitasking is possible with both, but given the choice, it oughtta be easier with Symbian S60 as pressing the Menu button for a while immediately shows you the running tasks.

Symbian S60 is like Jack of all trades. Windows Mobile is more of a E-mail/Internet accessing device with less focus in making calls. Therefore you saee most of them w/o hardare keypad and only touchscreen.

Lets see what this link has in store for us.

don't go for iphone this is out of yr budget and it's battery doesn't lost long. In my view w910i would be better. It supports 3g and in sony w series is perfect for music. If u r looking for more smart then can choose nokia 6500 classic. very smart and sophistcated.
you can get detail about those on *www.blueunplugged.com/c.aspx?c=39977
