    I wanted to install a new anti-virus....so which one is the best? My choices are.....McAfee, Norton, eTrust EZ antivirus, AVG, Quickheal. If u any better then do let me know....

    if you can afford to pay around Rs.1500 then mcafee is unbeatable, as it comes with a personal firewall too. norton is not bad but is heavy on the system.

    if you want something for free blindly go for avg. download from www.grisift.com

    so guess here is the answer

    and i think we have some threads already on this so why to discuess it again & again

    AVG is the best.
    It dosn't hog on ur system resources, easy 2 update.
    Norton takes time to update.
    Go 4 AVG. Only drawback is no firewall. Apply SP2 or if u want a much stronger firewall go 4 Zonealarm. I am happy wid it.

    i use norton antivirus 2004,it detects virus ,if any and quarantines it(not delete). i will have to manually delete it....

    My suggestion is Norton AntiVirus 2004. It's the most reliable one.

    Norton is heavy
    I Use mcafee and i think its better dan norton
