@AnandK, FireFox has a NoScript extension. Download & Install it from here
With 'NoScript' extension you can enable JavaScript for only trusted sites. For other
untrusted sites disable JavaScript!!! As simple as that!! One is more safe browsing
the Web using FireFox than IE!!
