What is a good graphic card at an affordable price?

I'm looking to get a better graphic card installed into my laptop. I have a DellXPS14 Notebook. I play The Sims, and I want to have the best looking game I can have at an affordable rate. The game already looks great, but I know it's probably not to The Sims 3 standards.

Do you know of any good graphic cards that are less than $50? I'm not actually sure what type of Graphic Card is already installed in the computer.

you cant add a GPU to a laptop.
They need to be added while they are built.

Ans to your queston-

A GPU is not easily addable in a laptop as in a desktop. Actually, it's just about impossible to add a GPU to a new laptop.

When you buy a laptop, make sure you know your priorities. If you want to buy a laptop for gaming chose one that has a GPU. If you just for downloading then GPU is not requeired. A better battery life and larger HDD helps.


So next time you buy a laptop. Buy one with a proper Discrete GPU.
