Lets just establish it then...

Central Board of Game Certification (CBGC) is a Statutory body under Ministry of National Game Republic Of India regulating the motion of private and public practice of professional and casual gaming and its related supervision of leagues and industry under the provisions of the Gamerography Act 2003.

Games can be publicly played in India only after they have been certified by the Central Board of Game Certification. Private purchase/preference and practice/competing in playing games in Will also be moderated under laws and regulations of the institutional body.

The Board, consists of non-official members and a Chairman (all of whom are appointed by Central Government) and functions with headquarters at Mumbai. It has nine Regional offices, one each at Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Cuttack and Guwahati, each focusing on individual sections of Games and the genres and release platforms.

The Regional Offices are assisted in the examination of Games by Advisory Panels. The members of the panels are nominated by Central Government by drawing legendary Indian gamers from different genres of games for a period of 2 years. Panel members often selected not through any evaluative procedure and rather through the exposure and milestones created by their unmatched skills in various game(s), exhibition of extraordinary talents in league championship titles over the world, visionary and revolutionary mindset shown about "how to play a game differently".

Under the clause of National Rig Performance Act 54 B, every panel members are given extreme hardware support funded by the Central Government to Build/Custom their own choice of Gaming Computers. Panel members over the tenure of two years in the panel can assemble, modify, upgrade their Rigs with latest generation hardware available till date, with cross functional L1,L2, L3 support systems organized by Central Agency of Configuration Support (CACS) and L4 Vendor and manufacturer support directly from the house of makers. There are also direct provisions to members to deploy PS and Xbox units at their disposal aligned with game release dates and operational necessity which would be substantiated and validated by Chairperson of the Agency.

The National Game Pool situated in 2003 in New Delhi, will act in co-alignment with the CBGC to track, import and supply every game developed over the time starting from the BETA version, to Panel and to work seamlessly with International Game Manufacturers across the globe independent of release platforms and vendor specific optimization.

The Certification process is in accordance with The Gamerography Act 2003, The ESRB Rules by 1998 - 2013 Entertainment Software Association and Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) ratings providing concise and objective information about the content in video games.

Don't think so, unless that guy is named Ganesha or something. That was what Fallout did wasn't it? Designed and named a monster basing on a hindu god.

Keep dreaming :p. And forget a legendary gamer, you wouldn't even have a person who knows any game apart from horse racing or cards. Look at the state of the sports federations in India, what can you expect for us then? We'll probably be better off only if we keep spamming them on twitter,FB,email, and maybe add in a couple of DDoSes. But when have our politicians ever learned??

Btw your act/law seems really good though for the guys who get in, they can keep upgrading every few months and have a steam account like this CrystalTheory :D

then income of government persons will earn lot of money.....:-D:-D:lol:
And prices of graphics cards and consoles will fall too, thanks to millions of them flooding the black market sponsored by tax payers.

i object this
Lord Ganesha consists of Half-men & Half-animal
means only Head looks like Elephant but Hands and legs are normal as humans

-i think i made a point not to ban this game :)

To fight on par with kratos, one should look badass atleast as him. Even the GoW wikia says, this character (Elephantaur) appears to have been inspired by the Hindu God Ganesh.

Legit user will feel the heat of this if it ever happens. Games like Witcher , Saints Row, God of war will be banned in India due to their mature level. Games like call of duty , battlefield might also get banned due to excessive violence.

^^ and recent war games have developed quite an aggressive stance against terrorism, covert ops, open war, nuclear threats, ASN operations...may will have an impact on the India's so called patience over oncoming threats from its friendly neighborhoods (specially Pakistan) ...people might get agitated, triggering a political melodrama in parliament assuming responsibility of games to accelerate exploitation of violence in foreign soil, which Indian government has so far failed to observe and sustained spineless peace with hostile middle-east extremists.

The way I see it, it will only lead to increase in piracy. We all know about Fallout 3 but still many in India have managed to play it.
